Youth Adventure Day Camp
One-week-sessions of awesome outdoor adventure activities, in age-appropriate tracks, for elementary, middle and high school campers.
Week 1: July 26–30, 2021
Week 2: August 2–6, 2021
Youth Adventure Day Camp was such a hit this past summer that we’re offering two weeks of it again in 2021. This program offers campers a variety of fun and exciting outdoor adventure activities that challenge them to grow and learn respect for themselves, others and nature. Campers are grouped in age-appropriate cohorts: 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th, 6th-8th and 9th-12th grades.
Spanish speaking staff are available to work with Spanish speaking campers. And all appropriate COVID precautions (hand-washing and sanitizing, staff will wear masks, campers will remain in their same group throughout the week) will be taken in this loving environment free from fear.
Programming runs Monday through Friday from roughly 9am – 4pm with staggered starts. Parents/guardians drop their campers off every morning and pick them up every afternoon. Campers need to bring their own lunch and water bottle each day. (Morning and afternoon snacks are provided.)
Campers will rotate through a variety of exciting activities throughout the week:
- Rock gym climbing and games
- Lake activities: canoeing, kayaking, swimming
- Pool activities
- Low ropes course and team building
- Backcountry survival skills and games
- Ecology hikes
- Hikes on property
- Games on the sports field
- Arts and crafts
Possible activities based on ages and experience include:
- Horseback riding
- White water rafting
- High ropes courses
Youth Adventure Day Camp is $350/child/week.
