Outdoor Education
The 100 Elk Outdoor Center, a public program of the A/U Ranches, provides outdoor education and character development programs for schools and groups interested in experiential education. During their time here, participants can enjoy a single day of programming or rotate through a series of activities over multiple days.
Our outdoor education programs run in the fall and spring, as well as select times throughout the winter. All of our programs focus on expanding each participant’s sense of self, community and environment while encouraging personal growth and authentic choices.
Planning Your Program
To meet each group’s needs, we offer partial, single and multi-day residential programs, which include a stay in our cabins. When planning your program, consider the size of your group, length of stay and the focus of your visit.
With smaller groups, we can accomplish several activities in one day while larger groups find staying overnight or multiple days works best for their needs. Check out each program option to see what’s included and sample schedules.
