Make the most of your time at 100 Elk. Learn what to pack, get directions and check out local attractions.

To prepare for your visit to the 100 Elk Outdoor Center, we have a number of resources. Be sure to check the forecast before your trip as the weather in Buena Vista, especially at 9,000 feet, changes frequently. If you don’t know what to pack, we have suggestions on what to bring and advise layers, warm clothes and good shoes. We’re happy to provide our physical address and maps & directions for the best route to get here, and to round out your visit, we recommend local attractions for activities in Buena Vista, Salida, Leadville, Fairplay and Breckenridge – all within less than an hour and a half drive.
