100 Elk\u2019s mission is \u201cRevealing the Possibilities Within.\u201d Our uplifting, supportive environment allows participants to learn new things about themselves and others while enjoying the outdoors.<\/h3>\n

Outdoor Education<\/h3>\n

The 100 Elk Outdoor Center provides outdoor education and character development programs in the fall and spring for schools and groups interested in experiential education.<\/p>\n

100 Elk serves groups from all backgrounds including grade school through college students, sports teams, programs serving at-risk and underserved students, after-school programs and those interested in adventure and experiential learning. Our goal is to help expand each participant\u2019s sense of self, community and the environment while encouraging personal growth and authentic choices.<\/p>\n

Since 2001, we have provided quality programming to schools and groups throughout Colorado and New Mexico. Participants utilize the 1,345-acre A\/U Ranches facility, situated in the iconic Rocky Mountains in Buena Vista, Colorado.<\/p>\n

Our Mission<\/h3>\n

Our mission, \u201cRevealing the Possibilities Within,\u201d is at the core of all we do here. We believe our programming helps participants, individually and collectively, learn new things about themselves and others. Our activities support team building, growth and reflection for participants, as well as promote a greater appreciation of the outdoors.<\/p>\n

The 100 Elk Outdoor Center is a public program of the A\/U Ranches<\/a>, a non-profit located in Buena Vista, Colorado \u2014 a branch of the Adventure Unlimited<\/a> organization.
